This is a mess. It is not a comedy, but it does contain some comic moments. That is not enough to save it. It has a lot of problems that make it a bad movie. It would make sense to skip it and look for better movies.

The dialog is very hard to follow. The combination of bad acting and bad writing makes it tough to get through the disjointed segments of the movie. The script is so bad, even the actors cannot manage to keep it together. When you put it all together, you have an incoherent mess. I will go so far as to say that some of the individual scenes are funny. The best of those is the end when Lady Eloise discovers that Marcus is a womanizer. The moment of confusion and shock is funny. Yet it does not succeed as a whole. At the end, the movie is in the hands of a bad director who is controlling the movie as if he is the only one who knows what is going on. The worst problem is that they are trying to do a comedy but it is not working. When a movie fails to be funny, it is not going to work.

There are no real protagonists. In a film such as this where everyone is a bad-ass, you need a hero and a heroine. Also, the movie needs a clear story line, but none of that exists. It is a showcase for the actors in a failed attempt to be innovative and witty. The writers are not smart enough to figure out how to sustain a joke. They need to learn how to write and produce a movie. They need to get help from someone who knows how to write humor.

The rest is a bit of a mess. It is hard to understand what is going on in a lot of the scenes. In fact, I wondered at times if I was watching a re-creation of the movie Up In The Air (2009). It was a slick production, but this production looks like a budget effort.

The movie doesn't have a great plot. It is a one joke concept that is poorly executed. The story is weak. It is a bunch of subplots that don't quite gel. The main premise is hit and miss. The real story is told in the subplots. The characters are cardboard cutouts that can't hold a candle to the characters in The Out-of-Towners . The protagonist in The Out-of-Towners is more likable. The protagonist here is a loser. It is an entertaining movie with some laughs but it pales in comparison to the former.
